Gold ($) drops
ok, so i was clearing a few Hard Mode areas lately with people and heroes/hench, and while clearing the areas, we got the random gold items and stuff but we got on an average run around 10 or so cash drops which where of 100~ gold each...which divided by 8 makes around 12 gold per person...
So my suggestion is to increase the amount of gold dropped according to the size of the party you're in..for example: we kill a boss in a 8 player party, and he drops 1k gold /8players = 125 gold per person..seems more reasonable to me than a total of 200 gold or so in 2 hours of clearing. And it should help more casual players get runes/stuff like that...(although they are pretty cheap atm)
Anyways i would like to hear some suggestions from you guys...if you think that its too overpowered or whatever.
also sry if this was posted already.

I can see what you want to accomplish by doing this, but also by doing this, you create an influx of gold that can nullify exactly what you want to achieve.
If everyone is getting more gold, prices for things will increase, leaving casual players back where they started.

Well, the thing is, if u kill a boss with aparty of 8 and u kill a boss solo, which is harder? with a party of 8 you can kill faster(usually) than with a smaller group.

only true on items you buy from players. cost of armour etc doesnt go up. being rewarded for farming in parties is a good idea imho

I'd rather see the frequency of gold drops increased (which I think it is). That would have a smaller economic impact overall, and still reward players who venture out in smaller parties for their increased difficulty.

Inflation. While it may not seem like much individually, when taken along with the ~300,000 active GW players who play, this adds up to a lot of gold.

Casual players need to understand they can play with casual gear.

Pissing on people who play your game as it's designed isn't good business practice. Guild Wars is somewhat unique in that, if you follow the game's preset paths you basically get utterly and completely screwed on character customization. It would be nice if ANET let the casual folks have something for playing the game as intended, and I don't think that increasing gold so they can maybe at least afford ONE ascended armor set is that big a deal.
I farm some, but even just having a full time job and a wife means I can never really aspire to have more than two or three ascended armor sets. I can't imagine how anybody could expect someone who "only" plays 5-10 hours a week or so to ever have anything more than the basic level 20 armor and a max collector weapon.

I find personally that, the rewards that we get, are way inferior to the amount of time/effort we put in clearing areas in hardmode etc...i used to be a hardcore player...but now that i have a real life lol, i realize that its kind of ridiculous to get (sometimes) around 200-300gold (in cash drops) while playing the game for 3 hours in hard mode with a full party, that is not even enough to buy an expert salvage kit, and yes i know i could solo sometimes to get some cash but i like the social part of this game..well it used to have a social part in 2005 but these days lol kinda hard. Basically you get punished in gold ($) drops when in a full party and imo isn't fun.

I'd rather reduce the drops by 25%, but make them taken as is, instead of being shared:
- Currently: Average drop 100g
* If there is one player, the player gets 100g.
* If there are 8 players: 100/8 = 12.5 4 players take 12gold and 4 players take 13.
- As I say: Average drop 25g
* If there is one player, the player gets 25g.
* If there are 8 players, each one gets 25 gold.
This would be also a good way to 'treat' players that go in parties.

Cost of material goes up though. Inflation is bad.

Inflating the economy by 8x is only going to ruin it more than it already is. I would think suggestions should be in the direction of improving the game, but in this case, I am wrong.
